ADHD Psychiatric Assessments

Specialist ADHD Evaluations for Adults

I provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults. These evaluations are designed to support GPs in establishing a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. My role is to deliver a structured, evidence-based assessment and formal report, which can be used by the referring GP to continue management.

ADHD Psychiatric Assessments

What I Offer

Comprehensive ADHD Diagnostic Assessment

  • Detailed clinical interview and psychiatric history
  • Review of developmental, academic, and occupational functioning
  • Use of validated ADHD rating scales and psychometric tools
  • Screening for co-existing psychiatric conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, PTSD)

Formal Psychiatric Report

  • Comprehensive reporting
  • Clear diagnostic formulation
  • Treatment recommendations (including pharmacological and non-pharmacological options)
  • Guidance for GPs to safely initiate and continue management
  • Consideration of medico-legal, functional, and occupational aspects if relevant

Important Notes

  • I currently have very limited capacity and therefore cannot provide ongoing ADHD management or regular follow-up care.
  • My service is focused on initial diagnostic evaluations and comprehensive reporting.
  • Ongoing management, including prescriptions and monitoring, will remain the responsibility of the referring GP or another treating clinician.

Referral Process

  1. Referral – A GP sends a referral for an ADHD evaluation.
  2. Assessment – A structured psychiatric evaluation is conducted (telehealth or in person).
  3. Report Preparation – A comprehensive report is prepared for the GP within 48 hours. You will receive the exact copy of the report.
  4. Ongoing Care – The GP uses the report to guide treatment and management.
